Australia’s Fastest-Selling Suburbs Revealed

New data has revealed the suburbs where properties are being snapped up at an incredible pace — sometimes faster than one per day.

In Sydney, high-demand house markets include Blacktown, Marsden Park, and Castle Hill, each recording more than 365 house sales in 12 months. For units, Parramatta, Liverpool, Epping, Dee Why, and Ryde are leading the charge.

In Melbourne, apartment turnover in the CBD is lightning fast — equivalent to one sale every four hours over the past year. Meanwhile, in Tarneit, more than 1,600 houses changed hands — roughly four sales per day.

In Queensland, Surfers Paradise continues to dominate the unit scene, with 1,200+ unit sales over 12 months.

PropTrack notes that nationally, 126 markets recorded the equivalent of more than one sale per day over the past year, a clear indicator of buyer competition and strong demand fundamentals in those locations.
